Hi there, I'd like to say Kudos on a job well done with these pups.. I don't normally look at the Dachshund breed but these photo's caught my eye right away.
I'd also like to wish you find the very best of homes for the Central Texas Dachshund Rescue puppies and of course the Mum's and Pa's too.
What a job to have, so exciting when you do find a wonderful home for the Pups.
Keep up the fantastic work, I'll be looking in more often at your rescued babies, that means big and small, young or old...
Sincerly, Pupsmum Nepper

Oh thanks for outing me Margie! Didn't I tell you that you were sworn to secrecy after that photo shoot? :)

You did such a wonderful job with those puppies Margie. Huge kudos to you! I can't wait to see some of them at the adopters reunion next year.

P.S. And I happen to know that this was just one of MANY rescue litters you've taken in over the years. Bless you!

I was the one who delivered the puppies and raised them until they were ready to be adopted. There were two more puppies in the litter. They had been adopted by the time the pictures were taken. They were a very active, but sweet litter of puppies who kept me on my toes cleaning up after them. They were also the most delightful litter I have ever taken care of. Since they all look so much alike it was a challenge to tell them apart. I have seen some of them since they were adopted and they are very handsome/beautiful representatives of the breed with long ears and long noses. As you can well imagine it was not an easy job taking a picture of 4 puppies at one time. Being the perfectionist that Sue is, I think she took 96 pictures of them the day of the photo shoot to get the perfect shot. I have never heard such sounds come out of a person as Sue made to try to get all of the puppies to look at her at the same time. It was a fun filled day.
